Our Story
MOURN began in Jakarta as a reaction to fast fashion — a search for clothing with more weight, more history, more intention. Drawing from gothic silhouettes and the raw energy of the city's underground scene, we set out to build pieces that feel less like trends and more like armor.
Every garment starts as a sketch born from late nights and loud music, then goes through months of fitting and fabric testing before it ever reaches the rack. Nothing leaves our studio unless it's built to be lived in.
Philosophy
We believe clothing should say something without saying anything at all. Oversized fits, distressed detailing, and a palette rooted in black — MOURN isn't about following a season, it's about building a uniform for people who move through the city at night.
